Inspired by the tradition of the indigenous peoples of Alaska and the Northwest Coast ours features a totem pole design by Daniel Burlison who spent time living among the Alaskan natives teaching jewelry making and prospecting for jade. Longhouses were used as family dwellings and as ceremonial spaces.
